The Helping Hand of Warren County has changed several of their procedures during the COVID-19 outbreak to keep the community and their volunteers safe. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News the changes include:

-The clothing, furniture and household section is closed to shopping effective immediately
-Residents driving their car who wish to donate or receive items should stay in their car, and a volunteer will walk out to provide information, and a Warren County ID or documented address will be checked
-There are no income guidelines or referrals needed
-A small amount of paperwork is required for new families to use Helping Hand services
