PCM senior Regan Freland has been named to the Iowa Print Sports Writer’s Association All-State list for the 2019-2020 season. She’s been named to the second team in Class 3A for the second consecutive season, and the third time overall she’s been recognized after being named to the third team her sophomore year.
Freland’s 16.4 points per game was by far the most on the team, and was second best in the Heart of Iowa Conference. Freland led the league in steals with 78. She also finished 10th in the league in rebounding with 120, and sixth in assists with 70. Freland finished her high school career as the all-time leading scorer at PCM with 1,461 points. After graduation, she’ll join the women’s basketball program at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
