A Knoxville man was arrested Saturday after he admitted to sexually abusing a minor child family member over a two year period. According to court documents, during the evening of Saturday, March 14th, another family member found 35-year-old Jacob Raney abusing the child. Upon further investigation the victim told officers they had been sexually abused for the past two years. When officers spoke with Raney he admitted to sexually abusing the minor child. Raney was arrested and charged with third degree sexual abuse, a class C felony as well as incest, a class D felony.
