While the boys and girls of summer anxiously await if they will have a season, one Pella Christian Eagle baseball player has made his college decision.

Matthew Bokhoven will continue competing at Dordt University. A two-year starting infielder for the Eagles, Bokhoven says his family has a lot of history at the school, and that he looks forward to playing with some former Eagles and the rest of the team up in Sioux Center.

Bokhoven has 32 career hits and 25 runs batted in, and has been primarily playing on the infield for Pella Christian. Hear more from Bokhoven and other Eagles heading to college on this week’s Radio Sports Page Wednesday at 6 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
