A Pella Christian senior who was initially on the fence about continuing her athletics career has chosen a college destination.

Anna Van Zee will play soccer for Northwestern College this coming fall. Van Zee says while she wasn’t sure she’d keep playing after high school, she found a home with the Red Raiders in Orange City.

Van Zee is the key defender for the Eagles girls soccer team, and was a 2018 All-State Second Team Selection and three-time All-Little Hawkeye Conference selection. Hear her and fellow Eagles competing in college on tonight’s Radio Sports Page at 6 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
