The IMU Board of Trustees voted unanimously to suspend non-payment disconnections for all services, electric, water, and fiber communications for the next 60 days at their meeting Monday. The board also voted to not assess administrative fees for delinquent payments, citing the unknowns of what the economic impact will be of the COVID-19 pandemic. IMU staff will continue to monitor the COVID situation and make further recommendations to the Board of Trustees as needed.
