The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special session Wednesday morning. The board approved a Warren County Emergency Declaration for the COVID-19 pandemic, which was submitted by Warren County Emergency Management. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News the emergency declaration allows the county to take advantage of emergency funds from the state. The declaration follows similar declarations from cities inside Warren County, including Indianola and Carlisle. The board also extended the closing Warren County facilities until further notice.
