Fast-moving, fast-developing severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, especially in eastern Iowa. Marion and Warren Counties are on the far western edge of a risk area issued by the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. Some of the most intense storms are expected to develop east and north of Marion County stretching to the Iowa-Illinois border. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
