At a time when restaurants have lost significant revenue due to social distancing guidelines and dining-in restrictions, one resident is hoping to connect those businesses to delivery services. Phil Hemming is hoping to bring MyTown2Go to the Pella area, a service that would market and help provide delivery orders to local restaurants. He says he’s making a call to local restaurants and business leaders to see if the service is a fit for them, after it has had success in Marshalltown and other Iowa communities.

“A former classmate of mine, Mike Hall, from Marshalltown, reached out to me to try and develop the Pella, Oskaloosa, and Knoxville markets. He developed the company MyTown2Go and is in 300 different locations across the US. They are currently in several other local Iowa communities and have had great success. Pella and the surrounding areas is a spot they have had their sights on to try and expand. Their niche is to find communities that don’t have Uber Eats, Door Dash, or Grub Hub – and provide services to businesses and customers in those areas.”
