As the residents of Knoxville continue practicing social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, residents are coming together on Facebook to interact and stay social. Recently, a group of residents came together and came up with an idea to get out of the house for some old school Knoxville fun. The plan is for residents to get out of their homes, get in their cars and cruise the loop the way the residents used to with KNIA/KRLS blasting on the radio. This Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 92.1 KRLS will take part in the Cruise the Loop night to help residents have fun while still practicing social distancing. KNIA/KRLS is taking your requests, simply go to the KNIA/KRLS Facebook page and type in your favorite tunes from your days scooping the loop and we’ll get as many in as we can on the air on 92.1 KRLS between 6 p.m to 8 p.m. this Saturday, March 28th.
