With the cancellation of spring sports at the college level, a senior baseball season ended well too soon for a Pleasantville alumnus. Zeb Adreon was one of the key players for the Iowa Hawkeyes this season, and finished the year with some of the best numbers on the team.

Adreon started all 15 games, nine of which were in left field and six in right field. He hit .333 with 13 RBI’s and nine runs scored, recorded hits in 12 games with four multi-hit contests, and tied for ninth in the Big Ten with a .462 on-base percentage. He was named to the all-tournament team at the Cambria College Classic after hitting .500 with two doubles, three runs, and two RBIs in three games at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

With the cancellation of the season, the NCAA has offered a waiver for all spring student-athletes, granting them an extra year of eligibility.
