With the season being cancelled, the Simpson baseball squad is still working towards the future with their athletes being at home rather than school. Head coach Nathan Roling tells KNIA News he obviously wants his guys to stay in the best shape that they can, but the number one priority is to stay safe and keep others around them safe.

“Fitness centers are closed, most things are closed. So I’m urging our players to follow the stay at home order, and understand that they have gone through an emotional time and don’t have the ability to go out and work out through it. I’ve told them to stay active, stay busy, but when we know more, which we seem to know more every week, day, and hour, we’ll pick things up when we can.”

The Storm went 3-4 on the young season before the cancellation.
