The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special session Friday morning, discussing the adoption of Warren County, Iowa Infectious Disease Action Plan COVID-19 Pandemic.
The board approved the plan, which largely follows federal legislation, that if there is a shelter in place order put in place employees will have 80 hours of full paid leave for both full-time and part-time employees. The board also agreed to extend for county employees after the 80 hours is complete, employees will receive another 80 hours of full pay.
After those combined 160 hours are completed, employees who are at home not working will receive two-thirds pay for non-worked hours. No changes to pay will be made for employees who are essential or working from home.
