The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. Mayor Kelly Shaw read a proclamation declaring April 24th as Arbor Day. The council approved a public hearing date for an updated version of the city code of ordinances and a revenue purpose statement for fee revenues from natural gas franchise fees, before going into closed session to discuss matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent.
