The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The council approved the purchase of a police department vehicle for $23,445 from Motor Inn of Knoxville as well as approved an offer from the Knoxville Water Works to purchase property from Competine Creek, L.L.C. The land will be purchased without city funds and will be used to potentially drill a new well. They approved the reappointment of Pennie Sommar and David Hoke to the Civil Service Board.
