The hope after sports is allowed to resume in Iowa is that everyone will go about their lives and get back to feeling normal. Melcher-Dallas Athletic Director Jim Crozier says it is frustrating that sports are on hold. He was planning on having a gold season for the Saints and coaching 13 total kids this spring. Crozier tells KNIA Sports we all just have to have hope that things get back to normal sooner rather than later.
Crozier:
“We know that we’re going to come out stronger. We know our lives are changed because of this and things are going to be different for the better or worse. You just have to keep your head up and push forward until we get to get out there to do what we love to do.”
If sports is allowed to resume after April 30th, the Saints will have missed eight boys and girls track and field meets including the annual Melcher-Dallas Invitational. The Saints also will miss four golf meets by the April 30th date to possibly resume.
