Council will also consider bids during a public hearing for sanitary sewer improvements and repaving of West 3rd Street, which is estimated to cost approximately $550,000. A public hearing is also scheduled for consideration of rezoning three districts from community commercial to planned unit developments for Kading Properties, the developer working on a $5.8 million project to bring 92 residential units known as the View Pointe Condominiums near West 16th Street in Pella. Council will also consider resolutions setting a public hearing date to accept bids and award a contract for the telecommunications utility facility and to accept public improvements made as part of the South Main Housing Development.
