While she has the satisfaction of knowing where she’ll compete while in college, Pella Christian senior Chloe Morgan still wants to wear the maroon and gold this spring and summer to represent the Eagles.
Morgan is a multiple-time state track and field medalist and was a 3rd team Class 2A All-State softball player and unanimous first-team all-Little Hawkeye Conference outfielder last summer. Morgan says she’s doing all she can to stay in shape and be ready for any competition, if it happens.
“It’s been so tough, but we are all just working on our own since we can’t be together, by just going on runs around town and working out at home,” she says. “It’s really heard, but it’s all mental — you have to push yourself to be the best if you want to keep going.”
Chloe announced recently she intends to continue her softball career at Central College. Hear more from Morgan on this evening’s Radio Sports Page, which begins at 6 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
