At small schools, they need all the athletes to play all of the sports. Melcher-Dallas is one school that nearly all of the athletes play three-to-four sports all year. Saints Athletic Director Jim Crozier tells KNIA Sports when one team does well, that usually means other teams will follow suit.

Crozier:
“We have a very strong junior class as we well know the past few years, and when all teams do well it means everyone does better during the season.”

Right now, Crozier and the rest of the Saints athletic teams are awaiting the go-ahead to start spring sports.
