The Marion County Road Department has announced that starting on Monday, April 13th Old Highway 92 will be down to one lane from T15 to T17 for approximately four weeks. The one lane is due to pavement rehabilitation and includes T17 between Old and New Highway 92 from Hwy 92 to the north corporate limit of Harvey. Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian tells KNIA/KRLS News with the highways down to one lane, there will be traffic control in place so residents need to use caution when in the area. He says anytime people see work zones or road closures they need to be attentive to the signage and know that the people working there are your friends and neighbors and to be courteous.Christian says residents should also expect delays throughout the construction period, and plan accordingly when traveling.
