The Indianola City Council will meet in special session Thursday. The council will discuss Mayor Kelly Shaw’s veto of the FY2021 budget that was passed by the council at the March 25th meeting. The council will either accept the veto and propose a new budget, or override the veto which requires a ⅔ majority from council members. The FY21 budget passed unanimously by council. The meeting will be streamed on YouTube, and public comment will be taken with a form found with the agenda. The meeting begins at 6pm.
