The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session today. The board will consider the approval of a resolution for extended school closure as well as consider the proposed fiscal year 2020-2021 Certified Budget. They will consider a resolution to approve the fiscal year 2018-2019 Financial Audit as well as consider the 2020-21 proposal and 2020-2022 Master Contract.
The board will consider Teacher Positions and Salaries as well as consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $26,250,000 General Obligation School Bonds and Levying a Tax for the payment thereof. They will consider multiple contracts and agreements including CMBA Fee Options, Boyd Jones, Financial Services Agreement, Dissemination Agent Agreement and Bidding Agent Agreement for the New Middles School Project.
The board will also consider approval of the fiscal year 2019-20 Certified Budget Amendment for Publication and set a public hearing for the fiscal year 2019-2020 Certified Budget Amendment for April 27th, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held virtually via Zoom.
