National Library Week is next week. National Library Week is a week set aside each year to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. As libraries across the country continue to be closed due to COVID-19, the Knoxville Public Library is finding new ways to celebrate, despite not being open. Next week the Knoxville Public Library will be holding different events to connect to library patrons.

On Monday, April 20th the library will host a virtual book club meeting via Zoom and discuss with patrons their favorite poetry as April is also National Poetry Month. Anyone who is interested in taking part in the virtual meeting is asked to email the library to get the Zoom meeting link at knoxlib@knoxville.lib.ia.us or visit the library website.
