Marion County representatives and local community leaders will hold a press conference today at 1 p.m. to update residents regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. A fourth case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Marion County as of Thursday afternoon. According to the Iowa Department of Public Health the fourth case is a person between the ages of 18-40 years-old. In total three of the cases now involve people 18-40 years-old and one person 61-80 years-old. Marion County will continue to hold press conferences every Monday and Friday for the foreseeable future at 1 p.m. to update the public and keep residents informed of the local response in a timely manner. Each press conference will be aired live on 92.1 KRLS and 95.3 KNIA and re-aired at 6 p.m.
