Knoxville Senior Faith Hatch will continue her athletic career and be a two-sport athlete at Grand View University this fall. Hatch has decided to join the women’s wrestling and golf programs for the Vikings. Hatch tells KRLS Sports she was sold immediately on the campus and both programs’ willingness to make her a better person on and off the playing field.
Hatch:
“I really loved the campus and everyone seems really, really nice everywhere you go, and the coaching staff for both wrestling and golf seem really nice and willing to help me achieve my goals.”
While heartbroken that her senior season for high school golf was cancelled she is looking forward to joining a women’s program that finished second in the Heart of American Conference last spring. The women’s wrestling program was in its first year of competition but it was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hear a complete interview with Hatch on tonight’s Radio Sports Page at 6:00pm on KNIA/KRLS.
