PCM Schools are working on ways to celebrate the Class of 2020 and provide access to their facilities for students to retrieve belongings in lockers.
Superintendent Brad Jeremeland says graduation and prom have been rescheduled for late June with an alternative date for July.
As a school district, PCM will continue to provide online learning opportunities for students through the end of the academic year, and parents are asked to encourage children to participate.
PCM will still offer free meals to all children in the communities through the end of May (18 years of age and younger). Meals will be distributed daily from 10:30 – 11:30am at the Prairie City Library and Monroe Elementary School.
Next week Monday (4/27) through Thursday (4/30) there will be a student belongings pick-up at PCM high school in Monroe from 3-7 pm. Please adhere to the assigned day per class (see below) and stay in the vehicle when arriving. A staff member will approach to allow students to enter the building, two at a time. The line will form in the bus lane. Students will be allowed to gather belongings from their locker, gym locker, band/art/ag/shop classrooms. This is not the time to turn in textbooks or student computers.
