Several Pella-based clay target shooting competitors earned All-American honors. Current Pella Christian Students Dominick Ver Meer, Emily Uitermarkt and Maclane Heinen made the 2020 National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) All-American Team based on results from the 2019 Shoot Year. Colten Uitermarkt, a member of the Eagles’ Class of 2018, also made the list in the collegiate division. From Pella High School, Elizabeth and Grace Eisenbarth also earned All-American recognition.
