The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad while starting to put together the pieces for the fall season is looking forward to a new schedule and a few additions to the team the Saints did not have last year. Coach Pat Ferguson says one addition should be Lane VanderLinden, who was ineligible last fall due to a transfer rule. He did play J-V and Ferguson was already impressed.

Ferguson:
“We return everybody from last year’s team and also the addition of Lane VanderLinden and we didn’t have him due to transferring over here, but he played JV and was spectacular. You knew just watching this kid that he’s an athlete and he’ll be a huge addition.”

VanderLinden was able to play basketball this winter and helped the Saints scoring 13 points per game and grabbing 70 rebounds in just ten games played.
