The Pella City Council adopted a zoning ordinance for a planned unit development for the View Pointe Condominiums. The proposed development includes 92 residential units that are primarily duplexes with some townhouses at West 16th Street near Ulrich Ford. The proposed development will remain under single ownership with the intent of renting the properties. Included with this development is a large, interior greenspace area with a walking path and picnic tables for use by the residents. The developer estimates the construction cost of the overall project is approximately $5.8 million. Project Developer Kading Properties intends to break ground on the project as soon as possible, despite economic challenges related to COVID-19.
