The PCM girls track and field team entered the spring with very high expectations for the 2020 season. Head Coach Eric Karr and his team were hoping that some team records would be broken and some state titles be won. Among them was senior Sierra Foster, who was running close to a lifetime PR in the 200 meter run when practice began. The shuttle hurdle team placed second at the state meet last year, and they only lost two runners from that team. Karr says it’s a major disappointment that the season was lost, largely because he expected it to be one of the program’s best years ever.

“We were going to have, in my belief, one of the best seasons that PCM Girls Track has ever had. We were looking to break records, we were looking to score points at state, school records, just things like that.”

PCM only got in three weeks of practice before the outbreak of COVID-19. The Mustangs will say goodbye to 10 seniors.
