With National Library Week coming to an end the Knoxville Public Library has announced that TumbleBooks, a world leader in online children’s book databases, is making its collection free to all libraries. TumbleBooks Library takes existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book.
Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News as part of the National Library Week Proclamation the city wants to continue to promote the online resources available at the library’s website such as TumbleBooks. Adams says there are so many resources still available for people even with the library closed. He says the library has also made their wifi available and that it can be accessed from the parking lot in front of the library to allow everyone access to the online resources.
The TumbleBooks Library will be available on the Knoxville Public Library’s website until at least August 31st. To access the TumbleBooks Library click here: https://www.knoxville.lib.ia.us/books-reading/tumblebooks/folder_contents
