Feed It Forward Indianola has surpassed the $10,000 mark in donations, and is asking for the community’s help in a special event for food pantries this weekend. This Sunday, Feed It Forward is asking Indianola residents to leave a bag of food on your porch, patio, or deck after sending an address via a Facebook message, which will then be picked up that day to be donated to local food pantries. Founder Scott Duncan tells KNIA News Feed It Forward uses donations to purchase gift cards from local restaurants, then donates those gift cards to emergency personnel and essential workers.
