The community of Pella–like so many others, is rallying around the Class of 2020 as they miss out on the hallmark moments of spring. A Facebook group is working to connect residents with graduates to show their support, as parents or soon-to-be graduates post in the Adopt a Pella Senior (Class of 2020) page. Residents and community members can comment on a specific post of a senior from Pella and Pella Christian, and the parent can then exchange messages to ensure safety of messages. The person who comments will pledge to write a letter, send a gift or gift card, or anything that lets that member of the Class of 2020 know they are supported. The group is open to all graduating seniors from both schools.
