The Indianola School District is currently working on a plan to hold a virtual graduation ceremony for the 2020 seniors. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News Indianola High School Principal Jeff Siebersma has been ironing out the details of a ceremony, none of which have been officially decided yet, which is currently planned for the normal date of May 24th. Sathoff said keeping the date makes sense because there are students who may need to attend basic training, go into the workforce, or have a family event scheduled for the summer that makes a different date infeasible. The event will follow local public health guidelines on social distancing.
