As local businesses in Knoxville prepare to reopen following Governor Kim Reynolds recent proclamation, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Marion County Economic Development Commission and the Pella Area Community Economic Alliance to provide a playbook to those businesses to help with their reopening procedures, according to Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Director Hannah Vander Veer. Vander Veer tells KNIA/KRLS News the type of information provided in the playbook, which is titled Work Hard, Work Smart, Work Safe includes about 30 pages with best practice tips broken down by sector as well as PPE requirements and general guidelines to keep their staff and customers safe.
