Three seniors saw their track and field careers come to an end at Melcher-Dallas this year with spring sports being cancelled. Sarah Hyatt, Kaylee Maeschen, and Lilly Bennett never got to see what they could do this year. Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports they all had goals of conference titles and maybe a run at the state meet in an individual event or relay.

Stuart:
“Those senior girls were an awesome part of our team, they turned into great leaders in our program. They did a good job of stepping up and helping out. They weren’t always comfortable doing relays we needed to score points or get more events for other kids.”
