According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, as of Wednesday the state has confirmed 6,843 positive cases of COVID-19 which has resulted in 148 deaths. In Marion County 8 total cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which two are currently still active, and in the other six cases the people infected have recovered, with no deaths. The next Marion County press conference on the COVID-19 situation is scheduled for tomorrow at 1 p.m. and will be aired live on 95.3 KNIA and 92.1 KRLS and re-aired at 6 p.m.
