The PCM Girls track and field team was planning on a successful season. With a plethora of experience and talent, Head Coach Eric Karr was expecting numerous events to qualify for state. He says that team goals were not based on numbers, but on team chemistry and work ethic to help achieve what they knew they were capable of.

“All of our goals, when we started, was we knew we were going to work hard. We were going to become a team, truly be a team and supporting each other. And then that builds from there as you finally get into your outdoor season. We were definitely excited for this year, and we had some very high goals. A lot of those goals were not made explicit right away in terms of numbers and times and everything, but everyone knew where they wanted to be at the end of the year.”

The Mustangs will graduate 10 seniors from this year’s program.
