The YMCA of Greater Des Moines has announced the Indianola YMCA may open sooner than May 15th due to Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announcement. The announcement states that the facilities in Dallas and Polk Counties will remain closed until May 15th, however the Indianola YMCA may open once procedures are in place to provide for social distancing and capacity limitations in the facility. More information, including on a start date and procedures regarding safety will be released as it becomes available.
