Twin Cedars Track and Field Senior Hunter McCombs had a lot of big goals this spring, but he, like the rest of the track and field and spring sports athletes in Iowa will never know how they would have done due to the season being cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. McCombs’s athletic career for the Sabers is not quite over as he is now looking toward baseball and hoping that season will be allowed to take place. McCombs tells KRLS Sports he is motivated and hopes his teammates are as well to have a great season.

McCombs:
“I’m hoping for a good season and I’m hoping we can all come back and be ready to play and have a miracle season. This whole situation is just a mess and I think we need some enlightenment during it.”

If the Sabers are allowed to play this season, they would start out with Moravia on June second.
