Pella Historical Society is offering a unique opportunity to its members and the general public. They invite residents to “Pillage the Village,” as staff will allow Pella Historical members who sign up first to come into the Historical Village (10 people per half hour) to clip tulips and dig up bulbs.
The general public can sign up for a slot on Tuesday if flowers remain.
Participants must:
•Bring their own trowels, buckets, gloves, etc. PHSM will not provide any equipment. They must take the entire bloom and the bulb.
•Enter through the gift shop
•Wear a face mask while in the gift shop and it is encouraged they keep it on while in the Village
Pella Historical Society is asking for free will donations, with a suggested donation of $1/bulb-bloom, cash or check. No credit cards or debit cards will accepted for this.
