According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, as of Sunday the state has confirmed 9,169 positive cases of COVID-19 which has resulted in 184 deaths. In Marion County 12 total cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which five are currently still active, and in the other seven cases the people infected have recovered, with no deaths. The next Marion County press conference on the COVID-19 situation is scheduled for tomorrow at 1 p.m. and will be aired live on 95.3 KNIA and 92.1 KRLS and re-aired at 6 p.m.
