The City of Indianola now has seven confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus inside city limits, with another case within the Indianola Fire District. Police Captain Brian Sher tells KNIA News the procedures for the police department have not changed, the address of the resident is flagged in the case of an emergency, but other than that the department is business as usual with extra cleaning taking place for employees and equipment. Several weeks ago, an Indianola Safety Officer tested positive for the virus, and has not yet been cleared to return to work. Warren County has 28 cases of the virus overall, with no deaths.
