Pella Regional Health Center temporarily suspended operations in their Sully and Bussey Medical Clinics on March 17.
These temporary closures are part of the plan to conserve personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning supplies, as well as reallocate human resources to efficiently fill staffing needs. Pella Regional will continue to monitor resources, and when the time is right, will resume operations at these locations. Until the Sully and Bussey Medical Clinics are reopened, patients may be seen by Diane DeJong, PA-C or Marsha Collins, PA-C in the Knoxville Medical Clinic location.
The Pella and Ottumwa Medical Clinics are also open and providers are available to see patients. Patients can call the main clinic scheduling line at 641-621-2200 to schedule appointments. Patients who routinely pick up prescriptions filled by Pella Regional Pharmacy at the Medical Clinic in Bussey will need to pick them up at Pella Regional’s Retail Pharmacy on the Square located at 802 Washington St. in Pella.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucially important patients stay well and manage chronic conditions as well as any new onset of medical concerns or symptoms. Pella Regional has taken many measures to assure patients can present to the hospital and clinics with low risk of exposure to COVID-19.
