With state meet experience in both track and cross country, Indianola senior Ashley Rockhold will stay home for her college experience and will join the Simpson College athletic program next year. Rockhold tells KNIA Sports while she is excited to attend a growing Simpson program, she is glad that she and the other seniors left their mark on the program.

“I’m glad that we got to leave an impact on the program and the coaches, but I’m just as happy to see a lot of leadership from the younger students and I think Indianola has a promising future.”

The Indians track and field squad competed in one indoor meet at UNI this season, earning six top 10 finishes.
