A lot of the heartbreak for the cancelled sports seasons this spring goes out to the seniors, because their careers were suddenly over. This season’s Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad was poised to do great things, maybe contend for the program’s first ever state tournament berth after last season’s 14-4 campaign. Senior Dakota Watson tells KRLS Sports after years of struggling to be competitive, the program has finally got coaches and players to want to learn the game and be successful on the pitch.
Watson:
“The goals teamwork with each other and actually want to learn the game and to play and do what needs to be done to get better as an individual and a team.”
