Despite not being able to compete in her senior season, that hasn’t stopped the plans for Indianola senior hurler Alivia Bauer, who will be attending Iowa next year to throw for the Hawkeyes. Bauer tells KNIA Sports the team atmosphere for the Indianola girls track squad is something she will never forget.

“Something I really loved about our program and our team, is even though we are split up into different events, I feel the support from all the other events. The distance girls, the other field girls, sprints, mid-distance, there was always someone there watching. So that was so nice, and being a part of that type of team is what really encourages you.”
