After two members of a trio of Pella Golf Seniors who guided the program back to the state meet last year have made their intention to play in college — and a third is weighing his options.

Luke Galeazzi is planning to take a gap year before making a decision to continue academics and playing the sport he loves. Galeazzi, along with Trey Wood and John Oltman, helped revitalize a program that in 2016 and 2017 could barely field a varsity team — and Galeazzi helped lead the team back to state as a team in 2019 after qualifying as an individual in 2018.
