According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, as of Monday the state has confirmed 12,373 positive cases of COVID-19 which has resulted in 271 deaths. In Marion County 14 total cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which two are currently still active, and in the other twelve cases the people infected have recovered, with no deaths. The next Marion County press conference on the COVID-19 situation is scheduled for today at 1 p.m. and will be aired on 95.3 KNIA and 92.1 KRLS and re-aired at 6 p.m.
