The City of Indianola now has 12 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus inside city limits, with three other cases within the Indianola Fire District. Several weeks ago, an Indianola Safety Officer who does not live in Indianola tested positive for the virus, and has not yet been cleared to return to work, while two other safety officers were exposed to the virus and have been tested.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has 52 cases with 30 of those recovered, while Marion County has 16 cases with 13 of those recovered, with neither county having any deaths from the virus. For more information, visit the Iowa Department of Public Health website below.
